The Number Three Coffee Shop & Eatery is situated in the picturesque and historic town of Troon on the West Coast of Scotland. It enjoys a prime location, just one mile from the famous Royal Troon Golf Club, which has hosted the Open Championship and many other prestigious tournaments.

Alan and Tracy Craig acquired the business recently and set about transforming this rather tired looking café into a slick, modern environment to compete with the high street multiples. They open from 9 – 5, providing breakfasts, lunches and snacks throughout the day.

One of the major investments they made was to install a new serve-over counter, bar and shelving system from Quality Equipment Distributors, a leading Glasgow-based specialist in retail and catering environments.

The Continental Coffee Shop System from QED is an impressive modular display scheme that includes refrigerated, heated and ambient glass counters with matching bar units, back bar storage and shelving and many other practical accessories.

Alan and Tracy chose Decoration J, one of eight separate designs in the QED Continental System. It offers all of the benefits of a bespoke, shop-fitted scheme, but at a more affordable price.

Since the relaunch of Number Three Coffee Shop & Eatery, Alan and Tracy have reported a sharp upturn in business, thanks to their catering and customer service expertise and the improved ambience of the QED system.
